ANY BOY CAN HAVE A CHILD… BUT IT TAKES A REAL MAN TO BE A FATHER!!!
Now for those of you who have never read my blog “SPEAK ON IT!!!” it’s a Commentary Blog on the ongoing Struggles of African Americans to gain respect in this day and age of stereotypes and negative imagery.Therefore I address the most often “un-spoken” issues in the Black community that have ultimately turned into “The Elephant In The Room“.In turn commentating on some of the “best solution‘s” or “logical reasoning” to solve them. Now after the vicious cycle of materialism and conditioning by society to succeed at any cost, I think the next most important Issue to address in The Black community are the deadbeat “Baby Daddy‘s“!!! Now I’m not saying that all Black men are irresponsible ,We have a Black President with 2 daughter’s who he love’s dearly and has raised very well. And Black Entrepreneurs, Blue & White Collar workers are more successful than they have ever been. But as a Militant I fight for the underprivileged and I think the lack of Fathers in “The Hood” taking responsibility as heads of the house hold are the main reason for our inability to remain unified as a race. Primarily because without fathers our young black men turn out to be Drug Dealers ,Pimps, Gangster’s and worst of all “THUGS” without cause and or direction what so ever. Now me being a “Step-Father” from a previous marriage, I took the responsibility of raising 3 step-children with pride instead of ducking and dodging it. And I still maintain a great relationship with my youngest Step-Son who is 19 that I raised since 5.Now If I raised 3 Stepchildren with honor and pride, I think leading by example We as Black men can raise our “actual” biological children. And even though I’m no longer married to there mother I did not {nore would I ever} disown or ignore them. I still look out for them when they need me. The bottom line is If you don’t take care of your children there are men out there who will do it with passion and pride. And If we as Black men intend to recapture our greatness as Kings over this planet We need to realize ANY BOY CAN HAVE A CHILD… BUT IT TAKES A REAL MAN TO BE A FATHER!!!!
